Maps of Location & Garden
The garden hides amongst the Lavender Bay Parklands, which are an attractive part of Sydney Harbour– with lovely views, and, as many visitors say – a special feeling of peace and tranquillity.
At the moment there aren’t any sign posts which show directions to the garden. Best thing to do is track Wendy’s Garden Lavender Bay from Google Maps.
Lavender Bay is part of the Lower North Shore suburbs some 3 klms north of the Sydney CBD. Located in Lavender Street, Lavender Bay, the Parklands are a 5 to 10-minute walk from North Sydney or Milsons Point railway stations or a 10 to 15-minute harbourside walk from Milsons Point or McMahons Point ferry wharves.
Adjacent to the garden in Harbourview Crescent is the Kirribilli Club where food, beverages and parking are available.
Once you get to the garden, the easiest way to find the main entrance is to look for the massive Moreton Bay fig tree right outside Wendy’s 4-storey home with its distinctive white tower.
Wendy’s Secret Garden is always open and entry is free. However, visitors should note that bookings are required via North Sydney Council for all events at the garden regardless of group size.
Please check our Frequently Asked Questions page for further information about visiting the garden.
